Environmental Remediation: Cleaning Up for a Healthier Planet

When industrial activities, accidental spills, or improper disposal practices contaminate soil, groundwater, or surface waters, it can pose serious risks to human health and the environment. Pump and Treat systems pump out contaminated groundwater, remove contaminants using methods like air stripping or carbon filtering, and discharge or re-inject the treated water. 

Chemical Oxidation injects highly reactive oxidants into the soil or groundwater to break down persistent organic and some inorganic contaminants into less toxic compounds.

These are just a few examples, and remediation strategies are often combined and tailored to the specific conditions and contaminants at each site. Monitoring is crucial to verify that cleanup goals are achieved and the risk to human health and the environment is mitigated.
